REDEMPTION

REDEMPTION

Singer-songwriter LEO from the US Northwest commissioned a single cover that blended his Toronto-inspired musical roots with the dark, moody atmosphere of “Redemption.” From consulting to final delivery, I guided the full creative process. Drawing on Toronto’s visual identity, LEO selected an image of the CN Tower as the central graphic. I developed a bold and clean typographic approach using Druk in both expanded and condensed weights.

To match the gritty tone of the song, I treated the main image to resemble ripped paper, collaged with scotch tape, then rescanned and layered with the text layout. Although the track was ultimately unreleased, the final artwork and promotional assets left a lasting impression.
