PARTY FOR THE LONELY ALBUM ARTWORK

PARTY FOR THE LONELY ALBUM ARTWORK

For Alley’s EP Party for the Lonely, I was entrusted with designing a series of five interconnected album covers that would visually unify the project. The goal was to capture the dark, moody, and melancholic atmosphere of Alley’s music while creating a cohesive visual identity for the release.

With complete creative freedom over the art direction and design, I immersed myself in the music—drawing inspiration directly from the lyrics and sonic textures. The result was a dark, raw, and atmospheric design, blending graphic photography, layered collages, and a mix of gothic and modern typography. A key concept was ensuring that each cover stood on its own while also forming a single, seamless artwork when placed side by side—a challenge that made the process both demanding and deeply rewarding.

Beyond the covers, I extended the visual language into a full campaign, designing posters, social media assets, and motion graphics for Spotify and Instagram to enhance the release. The project not only resonated with Alley—who loved the final result—but also marked the beginning of an ongoing creative collaboration and friendship.

This remains one of my favorite projects to date, as it was my first extensive collaboration with an artist I hadn’t worked with before. It reinforced the idea that when creative synergy is strong, trusting the process can lead to something truly special.
