PARANOIA SINGLE ARTWORK

PARANOIA SINGLE ARTWORK

For Paranoia, a single by Alley and Drew Harvey, I designed a bespoke cover artwork, vinyl sleeve, vinyl record labels (for both colored and black versions), and promotional material that visually embodies the song’s themes of anxiety and psychological tension.

The visual direction was deeply inspired by the concept of paranoia, leading me to explore unsettling imagery. I created a dense collage of overlapping black-and-white eyes, printed and physically arranged to evoke a sense of unease before being rescanned as a background. This was complemented by additional fragmented imagery.

The typography remains minimal and clean, contrasting the chaotic imagery. Scribbled and painted lines distort parts of the composition, further enhancing the paranoid, fragmented feel. Additionally, tiny, microscopic lyrics appear as visual elements rather than readable text, reinforcing the feeling of overthinking and obsession.

For the vinyl record labels, I used a circular, repetitive arrangement of the artist names and song title, shrinking in size as it spirals inward. This design creates a dizzying optical effect when the record spins, adding a motion-driven element of paranoia to the physical format.

The final outcome was a visually immersive and cohesive release, with the artwork, vinyl design, and promotional materials all reinforcing the song’s atmosphere.
