CLIENT / COLLABORATOR
This personal project was born out of my passion for analog photography. I set out to design a collection of small, beautifully crafted cards displaying the package information of all major film stocks currently in production. The idea was to create functional yet visually appealing reference cards that could be slotted into the back of my analog cameras, matching the film I was using at any given time.
The project started with extensive research, cataloging all available film stocks and analyzing their packaging designs. Drawing inspiration from vintage analog film branding, I focused on retro layouts, bold typography, and classic color schemes—elements I felt were often lost in modern packaging design.
For the final prints, I opted for offset printing to enhance the vintage aesthetic and achieve a tactile, high-quality finish. The result was a series of compact, practical cards that not only served a purpose but also carried a nostalgic charm. After sharing the project online, the analog photography community responded enthusiastically, with many asking for print files and praising the work.
In retrospect, one challenge was the small form factor, which presented unique design and print limitations. However, this experience reinforced my appreciation for physical media and the craftsmanship involved in creating something both beautiful and functional.
