100 JAHRE BAUHAUS
To mark the conclusion of the 100 Jahre Bauhaus celebration, I was commissioned to design a poster series that would reignite public interest in the final months of the event. The exhibition, held in a Bauhaus-inspired pavilion, honored a century of one of the most influential design movements in history.
Drawing from the bold colors, typography, and geometric principles that define Bauhaus design, I combined these elements with risograph printing techniques—an approach I had never used before. By blending traditional grid-based layouts with the textured and layered aesthetic of risoprinting, the posters embodied both the structured rationality and experimental spirit of Bauhaus.
The final series was vibrant, eye-catching, and celebratory, paying homage to the movement’s legacy while bringing a fresh, contemporary energy to the event. The client was highly pleased with the outcome, and the posters successfully drew attention to the exhibition’s final phase.
As someone deeply inspired by Bauhaus architecture, furniture, and design, this project was a personal passion as much as a professional commission.
